Construction Design Group has won the very competetive bidding process to build the ammenity building for the Barn Village Development in Steamboat Springs, CO. "There were 6 very reputable contractors bidding on this job," stated Jay Czarkowski. "I believe that Construction Design Group won the contract due to our commitment to the development and quality of work and service..." In the end, it was not about the lowest bid, but on the right company to build the most important component to the development. "The Barn Village ammenity building, or Mountain House, as it is called, is going to be the first building to break ground in the development. It will be important for this to be the pride of the development...even though we were one of the higher bidders, we won the contract...for this project, it's not about cutting costs but about working smart and effectively..." Jay said. The ground-breaking should begin next week and the project should be completed by December 31st, 2009.

Construction Design Group will now be listed in the National Association of Home Builders Designations Directory under the Certified Green Builders category. This directory can be found on the NAHB web site: www.nahb.org/designationsdirectory.

Jay Czarkowski has earned the designation of Certified Green Professional by the National Association of Home Builders. In October, Jay completed the necessary course requirements in order to achieve this status. He is also required to attend continuing education classes annually in order to uphold this credential.

"We look forward to finding more ways to incorporate "green" and sustainable practices into our projects and partnering more with businesses who do so as well."

Construction Design Group recently finished building 2670 Alpenglow in Steamboat Springs. Upon completion, the 2008 Parade of Homes Tour requested that the home be showcased along with several other homes for the tour. The tour occurs in August.

Construction Design Group has been hired to build 4 Multi-million dollar homes in the highly touted Barn Village Development in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Building shall commence in the Fall of 2008 and completion is expected by Fall of 2009.
